I returned from a year of traveling /working overseas after university and joined Expo as temp staff to update their database and replenish my seriously inadequate funds! I really enjoyed working in such a varied environment with a close knit team so when they offered me a job I didn’t hesitate in accepting.

I work as a sales planner. Essentially I sell space for the transport trade shows but there’s a bit more to it that that. I liaise with exhibitors, plan the sales, research and develop new business from trade press and (fingers crossed) finally close the sales. I’ve also tried my hand at selling the motorcycle and memorabilia shows and thoroughly enjoyed it. We are constantly working towards a show and it’s fantastically rewarding to see all our efforts pay off when we put on a successful event.
