After taking a year out before university, I realised I liked the variety that comes with working in events.

I previously worked for a company that sourced venues for different events, although I felt that I was only doing half the job.

My role at Expo Management allows me to see something from the initial planning stage to it actually happening and then looking back on how to do it better next time. I don't know where else I'd get that sense of achievement.

I'm an Event Planner, so I plan certain aspects of each event and ensure that everything is in place to help the event run smoothly for everyone including exhibitor's guests and visitors.

My dream event would be:

An event that would allow me to be quite creative and probably something with a music theme and a bit of glamour. Something like the Brits or MTV Awards with up-to-date acts and performances, attracting all the rich and famous but with a slight twist, maybe based in Havana with a 1960s Gangster theme.

Staying with the Cuban theme I'd probably invite Fidel Castro, giving me prime opportunity to question him on his beliefs.
